About Texva

Beautiful documents shouldn't require code.

Texva exists so the people who write the hardest documents — teachers, students, researchers — can spend their time on the content, not the formatting.

Why we built Texva

For decades there have been two ways to make a document with serious math in it. Fight Word while it breaks your formulas and shifts your tables. Or learn LaTeX and write your worksheets the way engineers write software.

We think there should be a third way. Texva feels like writing notes — drag blocks, type /, sketch a figure — while a real LaTeX engine typesets every page behind the scenes. What you see is simple. What you print looks like a textbook.

We started with the people this problem hits hardest: STEM teachers who lose evenings to formatting and exam shuffling. What we build for them — question banks, figure editors, AI import of scanned documents — turns out to be exactly what students and researchers need too.

Your work stays yours

Import from Word and Overleaf, export to PDF, LaTeX, Markdown, or Beamer — anytime. No lock-in, ever.

Print is the product

Every page is typeset by a real LaTeX engine. If it looks right on screen, it prints right on paper.

Works offline

The desktop app builds your PDF on your own machine — deadlines don't wait for Wi-Fi.
